Holroyd High School: Library Upgrade

Completed in September 2022, this project involved a full upgrade of the library building. This consisted of:

• A full restructure of the roof to eliminate the old atrium and provide more internal floor space.
• An extension of the building to accommodate a new lecture auditorium with tiered seating.
• A full internal refurbishment.
• External works consisting of a new outdoor tiered concrete area.

Some notable highlights include:

• A combination of plasterboard sheeted walls, pinboard lined walls, aluminium framed glass partition walls and operable walls.
• A combination of carpet tile and vinyl floor covering.
• The large high windows above the main area, combined with the new LED lights to provide lighting throughout the building.
• A new lecture auditorium with tiered seating and a platform lift for disabled access.
